Sounds like it's time to quit shooting and donate all firearms to a worthy cause like myself.Anyone shooting 7mm mag rifles while on blood thinner meds? My doc made it sound pretty bad now that I'm on thinners and has me wondering if my 7mm mag will cause too much bruising or internal damage.
Any thoughts?
Proper stock design and &i fit along with a quality recoil pad will help tame the beast.Anyone shooting 7mm mag rifles while on blood thinner meds? My doc made it sound pretty bad now that I'm on thinners and has me wondering if my 7mm mag will cause too much bruising or internal damage.

MAYBE TRY A LIMB SAVER THAT IS WHAT I AM GOING TO USE THEY SAY IT CAN REDUCE KICK BY 50%.Yeah, i have a 6.8spc and 270 as well. Wondering if it'd be better to sell my 7mm and build an elk rifle on the lr308 platform. Kinda worried what that 7mm will do to me now. Shot my brother's 7mm 2 weeks ago and remembering the kick. Not a fan of the potential damage it may do.
Thank you for the infoThis is or can be a serious dilemma.
Fortunately I'm not (yet) on thinners. But I have been around many folks that are. Some, you'd never know or suspect, some, a fly bumps them and they bleed profusely.
Only under very controlled conditions, would I experiment with shooting anything at all, and watch for signs or symptoms.
Bruising can seem a cosmetic nuisance, but if you can easily bruise superficially, you might not know how much more damage is being done elsewhere that you might not immediately know about.
