Looking for recommendations for a shooting teacher for AR's. Really want to improve my fundamentals and improve technique. Any leads would be great, I'm in Portland.

I like the instructors at Safe Fire in Camas WA but to be honest, I have only taken a couple handgun courses there and I've found the instructors to be very competent and easy to work with . I will be taking a carbine class there this month
A drawback there is its an indoor range so we're limited to 25 yards, but the basics are the same regardless .

I'd highly suggest Front Site in NV. Been there twice. Best firearms training I've ever seen. I'm a Vietnam vet and shot thousands of rounds...Front Site corrected all my bad habits. Highly recommended. Lots of LE members are sent there by their agencies.

Front Sight is good if you're willing to travel. Take the 4 day class if you can get the time off.

^^This. No reason to go to Nevada when superior training is available in Goldendale (unless, of course, you're into real casinos and want play in Sin City).
