Good question on the MMJ- the big problem is, you can have MMJ or you can have firearms but you can't have both. You get an MMJ card and the BATFE will not approve your application to purchase a firearm.I've seen it written that for many patients the combination of Tylenol (acetaminophen) and an NSAID (non-steroid, anti-inflammatory drugs -- like aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen) can be as effective as a narcotic pain reliever. Those will all store for many years.
And if you're in Washington state, marijuana is legal, too, though I don't know how effective it would be with a kidney stone.
Meanwhile, I got back from the VA hospital- no kidney stones (yay!) on the ultrasound. No infection (yay!) showed up in my urine or blood test. My back and kidneys are killing me,,,,and nobody knows why.
