That only applies to the mag portion.

Plus most say that CA will appeal to the 9th (again) and 9th will keep delaying this out and out. I don't pretend to know how it will play out. Perhaps another freedom week followed by a couple years of delays until they have to finally cave in? 9th and CA do not want this to happen and will try to stop it. I don't know how long they can effectively delay it though.
Yes, Duncan only applies to the mag ban. I have no doubt that CA will appeal to the 9th and given what happened last time before Bruen, I expect the 3 judge panel to again affirm, especially given the fact that Bruen took away the entire basis of the en banc panel reversing the 3 judge panel. I did not address the other restrictions in M114 because as best as I can tell they do not apply to me as an Idaho resident. Also, because I have an

Remember, this law is an Initiative and not something steamrolled into place by politicians or done by Executive Order. If it passes it is "the will of the people" and will stand unless it's found unconstitutional.
Well, Oregon voters defeated (by a wide-margin of 2 to 1) Measure 88 when SB 833(Driver's Licenses for Illegals) was referred to the voters as a referendum, and then the legislature (5 years later) went against the voter's preference, and passed it into law anyways with HB2015.

So there is some precedence established.

Now if we could only clear:rolleyes: the legislature of those jack-offs, and get some 2A-friendly people in their place.

I wonder if a gunsmith could alter magazines to only hold 10 rounds. I have a browning BDA 380 and don't think they have 10 round magazines.
You can order and install. Epoxy is "supposed" to make it permanent.

as of 1:45pm on Wed,
it's looking to pass

Oregon Measure 114. Sets new rules for the purchase of firearms.
Requires a permit from law enforcement for people to purchase firearms. Applicants would need to complete safety training and pass a criminal background check. The measure also prohibits magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

I wouldn't permanently alter any mags. The mag ban will be ruled unconstitutional, since Cali's ban has already been remanded to the 9th circus. I will buy a few 10 round mags for my carry pistols until this is sorted out.

Where Oregon is concerned it still needs to be pushed and it won't push itself. Remember, this law is an Initiative and sot something steamrolled into place by politicians or done by Executive Order. If it passes it is "the will of the people" and will stand unless it's found unconstitutional.

Of great import is that other states are watching and many will follow suit based upon it's passing.
I did not mean to imply that it should not be challenged in federal courts in Oregon, but only that the mag ban could be a dead issue before the issue could be heard in an Oregon court.

ZERO mag bans have been struck down in over 9 years. But keep your hopes up, I guess.

You need to read 112 before commenting. What it really means is that taxes will skyrocket to pay for services like food, laundry, and cleaning in prisons. It also means that you local neighborhood murderer and rapist can now go to counseling instead of going to prison. Don't you just love how Fagan allows the lies in ballot measure titles?

It blows for Oregonians but

If you think you may need more than ten rounds per mag for self defense then that place I would not go.
Out in the woods Blast away. Leo (if you ever see one) has plenty of better things to do.

I feel like it's a good time to mention Global Ordnance still has SHK steel mags on sale for $4.99 a piece with free shipping over $100 using code DRFT. Whole cases are $400 for 80.

How heavy are the steel ones? Have tons of ok industries aluminum ones and they feel about the same weight as pmag. I would get steel ones if they are reliable and not too heavy just for kicks.
