Once again they use a person who happens to own a gun as an example for gun-guys (and girls).. like those idiots that chop up their firearms on camera.. they may as well light money on fire to better virtue signal.

Firearm ownership has little to do with hunting. I loath that they always try and connect the two.

Anti-2A proponents usually push the idea of an essential connection between gun owning and hunting because they want to project the idea that hunting is the only legitimate reason for gun ownership. If they can get listeners to accept that tenet, it will be easy to get most people who aren't hunters to think removing gun rights affects few people. In addition, it makes it seem okay to ban nearly all guns, as you can hunt with single shot long guns. In addition, most Americans are now urban, and more urbanites every generation don't hunt, have never had to protect livestock from predators, and are against hunting. So if guns are projected as only legitimately for hunting, any anti-hunters can be added to those against banning all guns in civilian hands.

People by and large.... Americans in particular... are not willing to make the mental switch from "let's work together" to "let's execute people"... things will have to get much more desperate, much more difficult,.much more violent before that is an option on the steps of the Capitol. And with SCOTUS/Fed courts seemingly working in 2A favor.. I will wager that most "2A supporters" would rather wait on the Court decisions before kitting up and consider stacking bodies.

Click on results by county. This is straight from source, 51% yes and 49% no so far. A margin of 1-2%. Unless there are enough no votes to push it to 52% no from Yamhill who posted that they won't update results until Weds...
