If IP43 passed, it would be up to us as individuals as to whether or not we went to jail. And I was not particularly worried about 'them' coming for me. Nobody knows whats in my safe excepy me. And gas chambers? Come on.

Also, I'm not sure how a 'regime' would suddenly take over and start killing citizens if we lost the rights IP43 or similar bills propose. Least of which would be a democratic socialist government all of a sudden turning into a racist nationalist government. Why kill someone when they can just collect money from those with unlicensed guns?

Most people seem to believe that life as we know it can continue without access to what they call assault style rifles, so they belive an attempt to limit access is the right thing to.

Both sides claim to be right, only time will tell. Best thing to do is prepare for the worst.

Giving up our firearms, or firearm rights, is NOT a choice for many of us. This was hard fought for in several major wars, a lot of good men have died, that we have these rights. Those that are nonchalantly willing to give up these rights are FOOLS. Once they get the "assault weapons", they will go after the rest, and we won't have anything left to protect ourselves with.

The Socialists/Communists have been eyeing the US and scheming a take over for decades. No, a takeover would not happen immediately. I would give it maybe two decades after the 2ndA is defeated. I am 71, so it will not affect me. But I have an obligation to future generations to try to pass down a sovereign country, with our rights and freedoms intact. If I can. As far as a racist regime, the Left is already demonizing white males-what the H is that? Don't believe me? Open a private conversation, and I will detail the time line since LBJ.
