My New Favorite CCW Mag Carrier

I've spent the last couple weeks looking for a new mag carrier for daily carry and I finally landed on this pouch from Blue Force Gear...and I'm loving it! Who knew a mag pouch could bring so much joy!

Why it's awesome:

• $23
• So simple and low profile
• It holds my single stack 1911 magazines and my double-stack M&P 45 mags...and everything in between
• It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally
• Will hold a lot of other things too...flashlight, knife, multi-tool, etc.

Why it might not be awesome:

• It may take two hands to stuff a mag in there
• For horizontal carry it requires you to thread your belt through the the fixed loop on the back. But if you want to turn it into a "clip on," you can pickup a Tek-Lok belt clip and mount the carrier to the Tek-Lok using the belt loop velcro they give you

Loved mine as well until the velcro gave out, took about 6 months. But yes, very low profile and comfy.

Looks like it might adapt well to the tie-downs on a vertical shoulder rig, too, if you're into that...
