I used to call them clips until an old timer range officer at Clackamas County Training Center corrected me. I call them Mags. I don't even find a reason to say word clips nowadays anymore. I have PMags, SureFire Mags, but I'd love to get me a clip-fed 8mm kar98K ;-)

Ok so I WAS born last night and had to look this one up:

Slang term for a "casual" gun owner; eg; a person who typically only owns guns for hunting or shotgun sports and does not truly believe in the true premise of the second amendment. These people also generally treat owners/users of so called "non sporting" firearms like handguns or semiautomatic rifles with unwarranted scorn or contempt.

Yep, lots of those types out there.

Kinda sorta firearm slang related (I think we have about covered it all) but I hate it when people ask me "Did you catch a Deer this year" I usually answer no as I was not chasing them, except with a bullet.

I've seen this in action. It took about 20 rounds from a .45acp and the tree was one the guy was bringing home for Christmas so it wasn't very big. But yes it can be done.

Lately I've found the expression, "Keep your booger hook off the bang switch" rather annoying. I get it, cutesy redneck wisdom, amusing the first time one hears it but more and more tiresome each time thereafter.
