You might be thinking about the timeline for implementation of HB2005, the ghost gun bill. Right now, the serialization requirement for Personally Made Firearms (PMFs) goes into effect Sept. 1. The definitions for unfinished frames and receivers is now on hold on the federal level. That means, for now, unfinished, normally referred to and 80% ers, are legal to own without a serial number.
I should have said that was when the paperwork had to be in for the court to review. Mid September was Tony's estimate a few weeks ago if it was expedited. It ended up being expedited, so that what the best estimate is for the oral arguments.

Everytime someone notable croaks over today, the first thing I hear someone on a gun forum say is "duurrr were they vaxxed? duuurrrrr!" or "duurrr what info did they have on Hillary? duuurrr". They're driving away "traditional, conservative, god-fearing" people all on their own.
And don't forget to ask those traditional, conservative, god-fearing people what they think of somebody who cheated on his wife with an ugly whore and now sells $60 propaganda Bibles to raise campaign funds. I don't think you'll get a nice response there either.
It baffles me that some on the Right can't see that the Right has done this to themselves. I'm no Leftist (and no, not vaxxed either), but I very much enjoy watching the Right eat its own just as much as I enjoy the Left doing it. All while they stand around with thetrying to figure out where it all went wrong, lmao. If only the Right eating its own didn't have far more dire consequences in regards to the future of this country. I miss politics being Moderate, with sane voters who could think for themselves instead of bandwagoning onto bumper sticker slogans and conspiracy theories.

For me and my family I don't know how to describe it but I'll try. It's not that we don't get along it''s more that we don''t have anything in common. I've lived a large and active life with many good and bad adventures. I'm the oldest, my parents and their generation and above are all gone. But politics, sports, guns, activities we just don't share interests in. Here is an example, my brothers wife wanted their son to spend a summer with me to man him up a bit(her words). We talked of camping, fishing, rock hunting and the like. I also mentioned there would be some exorcise getting in next seasons firewood. The kid backed out when I asked for an in case he gets hurt I can take him to a hospital paper. He was afraid I would hurt him and I would never do that but bumps and bruises do happen when you live a more rugged/ active life. Now days he's in his 30's and still lives at home with Mommy and Daddy. Me I'm getting a internal defibrillator and when healed up will start shooting Sporting Clays. So you see nothing in common. My cousins live in AZ and are life long State dept of Education Democrats, again nothing in common. Vacation for them is a yearly trip to Disney Land. Mine is 9 days riding a motorcycle around the Oregon Outback.

I get it, but someone wanting to stop in and check for the latest update... how are they to find that info buried somewhere within the last several pages of "family times" discussions?
And new M114 posts end up merging into this one...Likely get frustrated and just post a "what's the latest on 114?"... which we end up repeating info that was recently posted, but buried multiple pages back.
