Man shoots bear, faces animal abuse charge

I may be naive.......but for me if the "cub"was in my yard.
I would have got my pistol walked out and in a "commanding.
voice " tell it to get the help outa my yard...
And if that dident work proceed to kick it's ars.


But that's just how I roll...go ask my neighbors pit
bull....LOL!!! I had to do it twice. ..
I just think the pellet gun thing seems to " opportunistic"
For a little ol' bear.

The guy needs to suck it up and pay the price. He was shooting it for fun. There was no theat. At least thats my opinion. As for the discharging a weapon charge? Thats a bunch of BS.

He was shooting it to make the damn thing go away. Black bears are aggressive. I wouldn't want it in my yard. (I'd also use something considerably bigger than a pellet rifle, I'd also grab the keys to the excavator.)

Something about the "momma bear" might make me refrain from just kicking it's arse, considering she could probably eat a pit bull head first and still be hungry. An adult black bear is far more dangerous than many believe, anybody that doesn't believe so can do a google search on "documented black bear attacks", old yoggie is hands down out front of the grizzly when it comes to attack/consumption of humans. But I don't blame you, I'd a kicked your neighbors pitbull out of my yard also, they too can be a handful.

got to close.....I would think giving poo bear
a boot to the arse is close to a pellet gun at 15ft.
