"You'll put your eye out with that thing..."
I've put 40k on this bike, still runs amazing 11 sec 1/4 mile @ 120 with my big but on it.
Didn't you just get that? Thought I saw a recent post where you called it your "new dad bike:"...Got this bike in prep for a bit of a long distance summer road trip. After the trip, I'll unload it and get another enduro. Too many awesome trails out here to stay on the pavement.

Bought it back last August, just never posted a picture of it on this thread. And yep, it feels like a dad's bike . Fat, slow, and comfortable. Perfect for a nice long trip this coming summer.Didn't you just get that? Thought I saw a recent post where you called it your "new dad bike:"...
Knew it! Knew I'd seen it on NWFA before...Bought it back last August, just never posted a picture of it on this thread.
No.Is Victory in business any more?
Warning long winded but hope to to help.think I'm ready to buy a different bike.
I think I'm ready for dresser/bagger. I just need plenty of power.
In a sense they are, They bought the Indian name and are now making Indians using the Victory engines. Is Victory in business any more?
That gives a better idea. I think 106 cubic inches transfers over to just under 1800cc's so might be a tad les responsive than the vtx.Ive ridden a variety of bikes and am currently on a Vtx 1800

800-1000 in a day is more than I like to ride so your a better person than I lol.
I'm usually around that 500 -600 a day and ready to shut down. You can get more power out the victory rather easy.
I disagree with the statement above that the Indian is a victory motor.
That's not the case as Indian uses pushrods victory did not to my understanding . Now victory was dropped to focus on the Indian from Polaris and many victory riders kinda got burned from Polaris on that one.
However, to say they are the same is not the case. That's like saying the v6 camero and the v8 are the same.
I would see if you can ride the bike before you buy. Have you looked at the Indians, or if a Honda fan why not the gold wing ?
