"Poodle shooter". You just made my Christmas card list.I love my .40s (though I usually carry a 1911 in .45 because this is America after all).
Never had a reason to wear a skirt or carry a poodle shooter but I hear from a lot of those folks on here that their 9mm kraut fountains "can get the job done."
Guess they never heard of WWII.
I only have two guns that shoot .40 S&W (I actually like it), a couple or more in 9mm, some in .45acp, some .357mag, more than one .38 Special, multiple .44 Mag, some .380s, 9mm Mak, 7.62x25, 7.62x38R, .32acp, .25acp, and of course several .22lr. I don't own a .41 Magnum, just don't feel the need to have one of everything. We as gunowners need to be prepped to survive any caliber shortage.
I plan to pick up a G27 for this reason.I bought a G23 during the last panic when you couldn't find 9mm ammo to save your life. I bought a 9mm barrel & mags for it and now I can shoot two calibers out of one gun.
Yeah, I bought a Beretta PX-40 that I never shoot. Now I'm stuck with itI have a Steyr in 40 because I believe in diversification. But that's really the only reason. I never shoot it.
Get a 9mm barrel and mags for your G23. I did, with 100% reliability.I have 1500 rnds I humped up here from California when you could buy 1000 reloads at gun show for under $100. So I still shoot my G27 occasionally. Had to sell my G23 but looking to find another since 9mm is expensive right now.
I damn near wet myself over this. Great Gif's!So true!!
