Uh-huh. And you're going to be first in line to start shooting, is that it?

You'd rather talk this stuff than take the time to fill out a ballot?

So... you are saying you won't be doing any shooting, when the time for that comes? Good to know...

Obviously, none of us knows how things are going to play out, or what each of us is capable of doing in extreme circumstances or civil war. But I suggest we start thinking these things through rather than trusting things will forever be reasonable and decent. It's true, they usually are - until they aren't.

As to filling out a ballot, I do still vote against ballot measures for things like tax hikes. I think it is futile (voting fraud does happen), but at least I am not supporting a scum bag with my vote. I'm done voting for (alleged) human beings, though.

If the Electorial College goes out, then California, New York and the other big states will decide who gets the prize.
The electoral college is not bad for balancing representation for less populated areas. It makes sense as urban problems are not the same as rural. Both need to be heard and addressed. However, the super-delegate business is a party privilege and it is highly undemocratic, IMPO.

A tale of two Washingtons: Seattle and the rest of the state

In Seattle today, the re-packaged Alliance for Gun Responsibility is holding its fourth annual gun control luncheon, this time as a fund-raiser for the upcoming campaign to pass the so-called "Extreme Risk Protection Orders' initiative, featuring former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly.

Should Hillary run on a 'repeal the Second Amendment' platform?

Yesterday the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post both ran editorials ripping presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump for asserting during a speech last Friday to members of the National Rifle Association that Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton wants to abolish the Second Amendment.

I worked on guidance systems in nuclear weapons in submarines. Had I emailed a page out of a tech manual to anybody over a non-secure system I'd still be sitting in Leavenworth 40 years later.

Same here, except air launched (ALCM), not sub launched, and I 100% agree. Rules for protection of classified info are pretty clear, and drilled in anyone with access/exposure to it. No excuses when it comes to that.

Clinton on Second Amendment: 'If it is a constitutional right…'

On today's 72nd anniversary of the D-Day landings at Normandy, thousands of Americans who died on the beaches and in the hedgerows must be spinning in their graves over what Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said yesterday to ABC's George Stephanopoulos about the Second Amendment of a Constitution they swore to defend and protect.

For those that may be on the fence about who to vote for in November, if you are a gun owner and care about your right to own guns - not just the right to own them, but to own what you want, shoot what you want, carry where you want and buy guns and ammo without even more taxes and regulation, then bear this in mind - Hillary will be the enemy of lawful gun owners.

"When it comes to guns? We have just too many guns," she said as the audience applauded. "On the streets, in our homes, in our neighborhoods." Clinton noted yesterday. Source: Hillary Clinton With Eric Holder: 'We Have Just Too Many Guns' - Breitbart (http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/04/21/hillary-clinton-eric-holder-just-many-guns/)

And, as usual, she continues to incorrectly cite numbers of gun deaths that have the appearance of being homicides, when pretty much everyone now knows, of the 33,000 gun deaths per year, 2/3 of those are suicides. And of course, she refers to all of them, including suicides as "Gun Violence". Clinton, as do so many others, harp on 33,000 gun deaths, yet blatantly ignore 500,000 lung cancer deaths due to smoking, as well as many other causes of death that far exceed those by gun violence or suicide. This simply further proves that she and the rest of the anti-gun crowd care ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about saving lives. This is about gun and gun owner CONTROL, plain and simple.

She also laments the power of the NRA and the gun lobby. Funny, I wonder how many lobbies she has supported and/or received support from over the years?

If you care anything about your rights, then, regardless of your party affiliation, I strongly urge you to vote for the candidate that will stand against Hillary in November. We've been hammered hard by Obama for the last 7 years. If she is elected, it will only continue to get worse.

Make no mistake about it - a vote for Hillary IS a vote against gun rights.

Not only against gun rights but against human rights.

Now is the time for everyone of us, Democrats and Republicans, to organize and fight against the tyranny that is silently slipping into our society. Vote, write, discuss, and display the firearm culture in the best light possible.

A vote for Hiltery is a vote against the Constitution, Freedom and Liberty...

Look at all her dirty dealings, lies, redirection, evading questions and now claiming that rights, any constitutional rights are subject to reasonable government control????

That's why I refer to her as Hiltery...

That was what stood out to me. She stated that all constitutional rights, human rights, are subject to "reasonable government control". Disturbing stuff.

Lets face it, Hillery is a shot across the bow for this election, She is just the latest to spin the Anti gun/ Anti 2nd rhetoric and she seeks to eradicate the constitution and install "A New Galactic Empire" in a not so syfy sort of way. No mater who ends up in the white house, we as a nation face some of the most difficult times in our history. What We the People decide to to, when we have had enough, will for ever change us as a nation! Do we stand and fight? Or do we submit? I think you all know where I will be! God Help us all now!

Grab the broom and the street sweeper, time to sweep the trash out of the government of the people and for the people..

We have an obligation to future generations to right the wrongs that are within our power to correct...

Nothing like a fresh cup of Joe and the acrid smell of burned gun powder wafting through the air to start the day...

I seriously fear a massive upheaval if Hiltery were to be elected... Lord help us all!

Our very existence as a free people and a nation is in serious jeopardy NOW, Right NOW! If we do nothing, we loose EVERY THING, that is just how serious this threat is! I do not care what your political stance is, If you have any hope of continuing to live as a Free Person, you have to make a choice, and that choice is Pro 2nd! Lets face it, if we loose our 2nd, we will loose them all at an alarming rate, then what will we have? It is past time we look past any differences we have to one another, and join our voices in a LOUD CHORUS, that forcibly tells our leaders WE THE PEOPLE, Will Not Submit to Unconstitutional rule, we will not let our leaders bend the constitution to their will, and we will not allow our leaders to act with out the vote and the will of the people! The Constitution is the supreme law of this land, it is absolute law, it defines this nation and its people, and is not subject to change or interpretation by any one! "IF" is an unreasonable interpretation by a evil woman who has no right or force of law to make that interpretation, nor does she have the power to enact any laws that restrict it!

Eternal vigilance is the price of Liberty.

Hate to rain on your parade, but what do you think 20,000 gun laws are, if not control? Even on this very forum you see people discussing how to avoid violating these laws, rather than ignoring them. Seems like people are being controlled...

Whether they should be controlled is another discussion, but I don't think it is arguable that they are being controlled. The only people not being controlled are those who violate those laws, those not displaying the fetish of being "law-abiding gun owners".

This is the problem with the concept of rights. It's fighting on the enemy's chosen ground. Most here have already given up the essential point, by believing that governments can adjudicate rights. Look at how you talk about schools or borders. You still believe.

We are armed not because of some parchment, not because we have the "right" to be - but because we have the will to be. Since we have that will, it is irrelevant what criminal gets into the presidency or the courts. Disarmament is an act of war. If you cannot physically resist that, then you are not much help. Your will ain't much of anything. What matters is not those criminals, but what is in ourselves.

Very well said, and I do agree, it's about our will. Individually, we each must search our soul to determine just what we are willing to tolerate and at what point that crosses the line.

I see a nasty, physical showdown coming in our future. We the People have subjacated too much, far too much, authority to the government, city, state and federal. And now we have seen blatant abuse of that power over the past couple of administrations.

The thought of Hiltery sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office scares the beejeezus out of me. I'm not advocating taking up arms against our tyrannical government, but I fear that we might be left with no other choice... If we want to continue to be free people who enjoy liberty...

The socialistic movement is so very deeply entrenched in our public education system, we have a generation of people who think we should depend on the government for our protection and well being... We as the older generation need to set things right, otherwise future generations are destined to suffer...
