Baltimore debated more punishment for gun crime but they tabled the laws because it would have put more blacks in jail than whites and they specifically one openly did not want that.

Crime is not bad enough to take realistic action so why should we? Let em go at it till politicians get the message that it's people that are the problem in every case in every city.

If gun free zones and stripping law abiding citizens of their inalienable right to defend themselves works so good, then why don't we "protect" our politicians, celebrities, and other "elites" the same way? Why don't we try hauling the gold out of Fort Knox and protect it the same way and see how well that works out? Surely you don't need armed guards in a place where it's illegal to have guns, right?

I have a buddy that spent a few years working in Brazil. He was out in the sticks to the north of Rio and I think Sao Paulo also. Pretty quiet out there building a hardwood mill so they can export eucalyptus. They are serious about they're gun laws for the average fellow but life in the big cities is pretty much a cesspool when you get away from tourist areas. Ciao!

If guns are that much of a problem they should get pest control to set up some gun traps. Perhaps set up some poison's bullets where the guns feed. Spay and neuter programs for guns will help reduce their numbers as well.

Honestly, Im not sure what they expected moving a bunch of gang bangers into a natural gun habitat. The guns dont really know any better.

Gun bait stations would be a good idea, set them up in alleyways, on street corners, and outside housing projects. Also a good PCO would place a barrier treatment around the foundation of any McD, KFC, mini-mart, tavern, dance hall, etc.
