The dissonance is strong with this one...

Well, when one steps back to see that 45 has made blatant and clear statements directly at odds with A1,2 and 4, I can see her point.I read the article... it deteriorates toward the end saying (paraphrasing) "2A people expected a tyrannical government under a Democrat president, but we should have military guns because Orange Man Bad"!
More phucking BS from another mentally unstable twit with the internal fortitude of a newborn sea turtle.
I find it interesting how so many are 'rolling over' and thinking these first time 'panic' gun buyers automatically inductees into the causes and concepts of the 2A.
Also a 'panic purchase' is not an indication the owner is going to to enter into 'shooting sports' . Maybe a few will but If they had any interest in it they would probably already be involved. A panic purchase does nothing more than create a false sense of security for the owner who would would most likely loose their but I am remaining cautiously skepical
Yea funny considering the TP shelves are once again loaded!Any more than panic buying TP makes one a prepper.
No, the cooking time for perfect white rice matters.
You are expecting to much. Like riding a motorcycle in traffic. You have to have the mentality no one sees you. You are invisible therefore you do what you have to for survival.I read the article... it deteriorates toward the end saying (paraphrasing) "2A people expected a tyrannical government under a Democrat president, but we should have military guns because Orange Man Bad"!

To anyone reading this woman's editorial letter, it should be readily apparent the she has not changed her mind one iota regarding the Second Amendment.
The letter is one small step shy of sarcasm, and she still views gun owners with repugnant indignation.
And just look at the majority of the comments! What a bunch of Leftist sheep. Totally and completely disgusting...
To answer the OP's question, an emphatic "NO!" is in order...
This is basically my take on the article. I Interpret selfishness from this person, and an attitude of 'shifting' her position to meet her needs while maintaining leftist ideals. In effect she has no convictions. At best, it is an admission that maybe guns would be useful for her, just not anybody else
I'm just curious. I might believe anything now.
No, that's RicistThat's racist
In some cases yes, people may choose to believe something purely on emotion however there are those when they say they 'believe something' only have arrived at that conclusion because of physical evidence, irrefutable facts and/or material involvement with whatever they now believe in - and emotions had nothing to do with it.When someone says they believe something, it usually means they have not arrived at that conclusion based on knowledge and/or thought, but rather based on emotion.

I think many of you are missing the point of the article. It's another call for the Left to start embracing ownership of modern sporting rifles in case they need to SHOOT PEOPLE LIKE US! Have you heard of the Socialist Rifle Association???
"Us" meaning those with a more typical, conservative view of politics and gun ownership.
