When people with lots of money, lots of power, and lots of connections start predicting these kinds of events, it is not just because they can see it coming; rather they are the ones who are the driving forces behind them. A man like Soros, who was able to singlehandedly have such an effect on the world economy by devaluing the British pound, should be heeded when he prognosticates the coming collapse of the global economy. He sees it coming because he is helping to bring it about.
