Wayyy too expensive for what you get. There are so many solar vendors out there it isn't even funny. For a cheap version of the "generator" you could get this from Harbor Freight....

And then go out to Mr. Solar or Backwoods Solar and get storage batteries. You would then need a charge controller and a simple inverter -- say 400 watts from Ace Hardware or Shuck's Auto. Might not be as pretty but it sure wouldn't cost over $2k either.

Just a few thoughts. Oh, seed packets can be had similar to the offer for between 40 and 100 bucks.
