Wayyy too expensive for what you get. There are so many solar vendors out there it isn't even funny. For a cheap version of the "generator" you could get this from Harbor Freight....

    http://www.harborfreight.com/45-watt-solar-panel-kit-90599.html

And then go out to Mr. Solar or Backwoods Solar and get storage batteries. You would then need a charge controller and a simple inverter -- say 400 watts from Ace Hardware or Shuck's Auto. Here's a location for some solar charge deep cycle batteries (lots of amp hours) -- http://store.solar-electric.com/batteries.html

Might not be as pretty but it sure wouldn't cost over $2k either.

Just a few thoughts. Oh, seed packets can be had similar to the offer for between 40 and 100 bucks.

You mean the ones on at 0330 on a Sunday morning as you are munching on some late taco bell? Those infomercials?

Yes those infomercials. Maybe even the ones on Sunday at 0330 munching on taco ****, after a long night of drinking and you are too drunk to change the channel, infomercials.
