Ironically, you can look at the street pan-handlers as an indication of the downward spiral of American Resolve.
In the '90's, they stood on the corner, "will work for food," and some would actually work.
It morphed into wanting hand-out's only.
Which morphed into "I'm a victim (of whatever)"
Now my answer is "dude, Burger King is offering $14.70 per hour for work that requires no thought, and they are begging for people."
