Given that I have seen customers open carrying in the Coeur d'Alene Costco and no one paid any attention, I would not worry about carrying concealed.

The real problem with their policy is the belief that restricting lawful concealed carry will somehow prevent some nutjob who wants to do harm to their employees or patrons from acting on their ill intentions.

Actually, the rules say nothing about pants, just shirts and shoes.

• Costco reserves the right to inspect any container, backpack, briefcase, or other bag, upon entering or leaving the warehouse and to refuse entry to anyone at our discretion.
