Not going to do much good if everyone gathers and no media is around to see it. You will know for sure if he will be there if they get the vehicles there today for his motorcade. Something inside says he needs to have eggs and tomato thrown at his rig.. no its just time for breakfast. We really do need to show some class and just be peaceful. This is sage advice. You will be under observation by the press and the Secret Service. Anyone who acts like a knuckle dragging moron will be on TV making Obama's case for him. You will also likely get a file in your name for further investigation.

As philip says above, the biggest impact is to show up respectfully and as the motorcade passes, turn around and show your back to the motorcade.

IMHO the best protest sign will be along the lines of "shame on you, Mr. President, for politicizing this tragedy for your own agenda."

Expect that they will be flying people in to support the President. Also expect that they will be positioned in front of the cameras along the actual route.

In this day and time we must really think about what we say what we do to get our point across to the masses that are on the other side of the fence or the many that are sitting on top of it. We must reach these people, we must if there is any way that we could all talk about this among friends family coworkers, anyone that'll listen. If we only change the mindsey of one person, give tem the passion for retaking our Constitution rights then they will try and change one person. That is going to be our sword to thrust into the unjust constitutional killing beasts, that is our opposition.

I started to type up a detailed advance team plan but realized I'd likely get a visit from the dark glasses crowd if I published it here. I don't have my get out of jail free card anymore so I'll provide a broader description instead.

The Secret Service Advance Team should have been there on Tuesday or possibly yesterday at the latest. They will pull Physical Security Specialists from any of the West Coast offices or even Denver depending on who has the duty (and the length of the trip POTUS has planned). They will be augmented with PPD team members as we get closer to the actual event.

Look for road crews welding manholes shut (on at least 3 routes), construction or storm fencing going up for no obvious reason, places where you can land a behemoth like M1 and still navigate vehicles to/from it. Talk to your local LE and EMS as they will be put on crowd control, traffic duty and standby for all potential venues as well as staged strategically on routes. You'll also notice "issues" with all of your wireless devices once things are in play.

That's all I can add at this point. It's too long a haul from Spokane while I'm on the clock on Friday but I'll be there in spirit.

Too bad we don't have a ton brightly colored candles shaped like 50BMG rounds that could be lit as part of a vigil. That would provide an odd visual backdrop that the press would have trouble explaining.

If I didn't have to drive overnight, I would be there with my trumpet to play a few suitable tunes: Dixie, Bonnie Blue Flag, Goober Peas, for starters.
