Check out California gun laws, if you want to call them that. They are slowly eliminating guns that people can purchase and you have to have a background check when you buy one bullet...or more.
Where's the NRA when you need them??

I'm kinda tired of seeing the NRA 'waste' all that money trying to keep californy from making guns illegal, seems like there must be a cheaper way. Can't we just move all the anti-gun people to one place?

If you have ANY questions about ANY California gun laws. Go register with Calguns.net and you will find info about anything gun related in California. They have a couple hundred thousand members. I have been a member with them for many years.

Death by a thousand cuts. "Reasonable and common sense" gun laws led us to this. Even worse is the brilliant minds from that state have come up to Oregon and WA and have successfully begun turning these once free states into the same third world gun control cesspool they left.

Personally, I'm planning my escape and have been since the loss of the right to freely buy and sell without government involvement. Florida looks like the place I'm moving to in a few years. I have actually been crunching the numbers and I can retire there easier anyways.

Better gun laws, better weather, lower cost of living and about the same pay in my professional job. Plus my side business fares better there. I don't expect to win the battle for gun rights, just planning on moving around to where liberty and common sense have not been made felonies until I die. Don't want to have kids because I don't want them to live in a world like this were criminals and government have all the power and the law abiding get screwed at gun point by both while you are told you can't have one, you don't need one...

Frankly, the imbeciles that voted for these laws in California and the politicians that enacted them deserve what they get. Hope your wife isn't raped during a home invasion buddy, because you may very well have to pay the man on his way out; if you protect your family like a recent NY resident you will be charged, drained of your savings, and likely sent to prison.

better weather, .

Living in Auburn I have one question. When was the last time the Puget Sound went through a hurricane? Florida goes through a few almost every year. The cost of living is not as cheap as you think. Florida is the main retirement destination for the entire east coast. No thank you. You can have what ever you want in Florida, but I will not move, own, or live anywhere east of the Mississippi River. Unless I am on vacation and know I will be leaving to go home. If you truly want to live in a state that is pro gun.......try Texas.

I actually live in Issaquah now (the Auburn house is one of my four rentals now, at least until I sell). Pretty sure you can buy a house like mine in Tampa for 300K instead of 675K like I paid for it. You can buy a house like my 300K Auburn house in Tampa for 125K all day. There are web sites out there called Zillow, Trulia and Redfin where you can look at what houses cost in other areas....Also there are nifty little things called cost of living calculators that show that the cost of living from everything including housing, gas, mil, even a burger are 34% lower in Tampa (actually milk is a few pennies more expensive by the gallon) vs where I live now....You know, I look at these things because I've been looking at places to move to for a couple years now. I make informed decisions based on facts as opposed to just posting "it's not as cheap as you think". Yes, it actually is, YOU just don't know it.

Yep hurricanes wipe all of Florida off the map several times a year, that's why millions of people live there year after year unmolested, including friends of mine who'm I've visited there after they moved back there from Seattle. Enjoy the lava flows from the mountain when it erupts and wipes out Puyallup, or the coming earthquake levels it, lol.

Sincerely,

The guy who doesn't seem to realize that the cost of living there is not as cheap as I think, according to you...

That's the real problem, they start small "ie, universal BGCs" and then just keep adding on until the public almost expects more. Then you get microstamping and BGC for ammo and other stupid ish.

And all those stupid voters are moving here to give the liberals here more voters to fit their california loving agendas more backers.

They will not only outlaw guns and ammo, but at the same time bankrupt their state. It's the perfect storm of socialism.

Can you lead me to that article about that NY resident. I like to be informed of all the
atrocities towards the common man, so I can protect myself legally and otherwise. Thanks.

When it looked like I was likely moving to Kali for a job a couple months ago I spent hours trying to figure out what guns I could take, what were possible to make legal according their laws and what old and new friends and playmates I would have to transfer to relatives or sell. Even registered to Calguns trying to figure out their bubblegum.

Yes, their laws are set up to do two things. Make as many guns as possible illegal and to make as many gun owners instant felons for having firearms with certain evil features like 30 round magazines, pistol grips, fore grips, hooded sights, folding bipods (ok I added the last two). Yes, a bayonet lug is illegal on one gun but a nice Russki folding 16 inch pigsticker that wlll leave a sucking wound is just fine on an SKS as long as it has a fixed mag.

Every day I am happier I didn't get that job. Because it was beginning to feel like a prison sentence approaching... Smiling, legal open and concealed gun owner north of border, misread or misinterpret one of their stupid "flowcharts", instant felon with big fine and big prison sentence south of the Oregon border.

Down on my knees, brothers and sisters, begging you to vote for the 2nd Amendment even though I will hold my nose in November. The other 2 or 3 alternatives would be real nightmares.
