In realty I live in a redneck comunity. My farmer next door has a bulldozer and a backhoe. so When SHTF we will cut the roads and make burms. Between us we can hold down the hill. Friends will come as we have 4 barns avalible with heaters and wood stored. So I live in my bug out spot. but When Obamma sends his drones I'm screwed.

I have been thinking of building a baja bug. Good suspension, 31 inch tires and a winch mounted under the hood. Light, easy to work on, engine in the back so they do well in the snow and with a winch you can pull yourself out if you get stuck
