As always, I go back to blaming the ridiculous "self-esteem" movement from the 90's. By making everyone winners, they failed to help kids learn to handle adversity and gave them their sense of entitlement. "I showed up. Where's my trophy?" Losing taught us to try harder. But these boys never "lost"in their games, etc as kids Real life doesn't work that way and these little boys can't cope, so they lash out.I find it bizarre and disturbing that the species got to a place where there is such a pool of people that can't get freaky with the opposite sex and are plotting violence because of their loser-dom. After all, we wouldn't have survived and evolved to the apex predator if we were not going to pound town over the millennia. Maybe it's because we lived in the days before technology exploded, when cancer was a death sentence and all the knowledge of the world was in the Encyclopedia Britannica.Good theory and you are probably correct. I honestly don't know. From the path I've trod, I just don't get it. Live, work, survive, love, laugh, reproduce, and don't take any of it too seriously; what more does one expect out of life? Things are so awesome now compared to what the family before me experienced I don't get why folks are so screwed up and negative now.
