The following is a three part article, done in an interview format, from the Armed Citizen's Legal Defense Network. It details a self defense shooting whereby the defendant shot an unarmed man, and the subsequent trial that followed where he was tried for murder. He was ultimately acquitted.

It's a fascinating read and gives great insight into what one might expect in the aftermath of such an encounter. It's long but it's well worth your time.

This is a great article that leads us through a criminal case in a self-defense shooting. It doesn't get to the real level of mental stress most suffer following a shooting incident, but it does give us a glimpse of the legal meatgrinder that we'll be cast into following a shooting event.
