load
A structural load or structural action is a force, deformation, or acceleration applied to structural elements. A load causes stress, deformation, and displacement in a structure. Structural analysis, a discipline in engineering, analyzes the effects of loads on structures and structural elements. Excess load may cause structural failure, so this should be considered and controlled during the design of a structure. Particular mechanical structures—such as aircraft, satellites, rockets, space stations, ships, and submarines—are subject to their own particular structural loads and actions. Engineers often evaluate structural loads based upon published regulations, contracts, or specifications. Accepted technical standards are used for acceptance testing and inspection.
Hello my fellow reloaders,
I've tried doing some searching and haven't had much luck finding any load data for 223/5.56 80gr bullets for barrels under 20" (10" to 18") with twists 1:7 to 1:9 for both standard and sub loads.
If anyone has any info or knows where to find it, I would appreciate...
Thought I would dredge up the age old question of what do you use for home defense and why?
Personally number four buck because I live in the suburbs and everything I’ve seen online shows it has good penetration without a lot of over penetration.
I also keep a Bandelier next to the shotgun...
Question in title. Single feeding is fine if that leads to greatest accuracy. Please share equipment type if that makes a difference in accuracy development.
I'd loaded up three different powder rates between 41.5 and 44.5 of Win Sta-Ball 6.5. I'm using Hornady 129 Gr flat Base soft points. That was about month ago, and I wasn't' sure if it was actually a good load, or I just got lucky. The 44.5 got a couple pretty good groups. I loaded up a...

Calling all trap skeet and sporting clay enthusiasts! I am selling nearly a full case of 28ga. STS 9 Shot target load 225 rounds/9 boxes. I don't like parting with these especially when it's getting hard to find lately. Not interested in trades or deliveries. $180 $150 for all.
When it comes to anything smokeless related, there are great concerns and info available for pressures of load combinations. That is logical because different firearms and cases are capable of withstanding different pressure levels.
Wouldn't the same be the case with BP guns? Why is pressure...
I bought a windows laptop just to use these windows only programs.
Very interesting so far. Still waiting for quickload software in the mail, been messing with GRT.
seems about right so far. My suspicions that data for 7.62x54r/rl15 is on the conservative side (hornady max load had zero...
Pistol or Revolver: What is your preferred carry load?
As for myself, I really like the Critical Defense 9mm 115 gr. for my primary gun.
"Critical DEFENSE® handgun ammunition is ideal for backup weapons, off-duty carry or for those serving in executive protection, undercover operations, or...
I traded into a pretty rifle chambered in 404 BJ express - the bullet diameter is .411. I have been looking for any load data I can find on it, some came with the ammo - the problem is that the loads are worked up for IMR 4320. IMR 4320 was discontinued a few years go. Best I can tell the 404...
I was looking at Sierra's online load data page for .400" bullets...they list a series of .40 S&W, 10mm Auto, and...10 MM FAR??? I'm not familiar with "10 mm FAR"...and a quick google search came up with zilch. Can anyone enlighten me???
