lever
A lever (/ˈliːvər/ or US /ˈlɛvər/) is a machine consisting of a beam or rigid rod pivoted at a fixed hinge, or fulcrum. A lever is a rigid body capable of rotating on a point on itself. On the basis of the location of fulcrum, load and effort, the lever is divided into three types. It is one of the six simple machines identified by Renaissance scientists. A lever amplifies an input force to provide a greater output force, which is said to provide leverage. The ratio of the output force to the input force is the mechanical advantage of the lever.
Versapod Sling Swivel Adapter, like new. I know it looks a little worn but aside from dust this is how it looked straight out of the package, I never used it. Attaches to a sling swivel, provides a place to brace the web of the hand against a barricade, has a QD socket in the head of the...
-----SOLD----
Dont know much about it, Made in 1907 and its chambered in 25-35. Wood looks to be all there but had some varnish put on it some years back. Not sure of a value but would rather trade than sell it. Smooth action, good looking piece.
All trades considered, but im looking for;
Sig...
Pulled out my lever guns and gave them some love today.
Got to wondering what others like as far as calibers and models?
All mine are 94's.
Chambered in .22 magnum, 30-30, and .375 Winchester.
What have you got? And what would you like to add?
looking to buy either a Rossi or a older marlin lever action .357 . Stainless is a big plus.if you have one you want to sell message me with info and price and maybe we can work out a deal. Would preferably like it to be around Medford/grants pass area.
Asking $1150 OBO. No trades at this time. Reticle is VMR2 MRAD.
I bought this to do a review on it and it is time for me to move on to another 3-gun style scope. Comes with the SV-3 Switchview lever and the front flip cover from Vortex installed. The SV-3 is critical, it is really nice have...
I have an SKS that has a professionally gunsmith shortened and crowned 16.5" barrel with an AR style front sight, modified the bolt so mags can be removed and inserted with the bolt open or closed, 10 rd factory mag and a new Tapco detachable 20 rd mag and approx 580 rds of ammo with 200 of them...
WTS gently used Trijicon MRO w/ ADM lower 1/3rd lever mount. Taken to the range twice and is in excellent condition.
Selling red dot to fund purchase of variable magnification optic, sad to see it go.
Local sale in Vancouver/Portland metro area.
$420
Thank you for looking!
Considering having a couple pistol caliber lever actions threaded for suppressor use. Have a Marlin 1894 45 Colt, and considering getting either a 1894 Marlin .357 or a Henry Big Boy Steel Carbine in .357. Is there anyone around locally who does this operation?
I want:
.357mag I think, but could be swayed to .45LC (or .454 casull as that out of a carbine always struck me as a super cool idea for a carbine).
Ejection out the top would be ideal. (I shoot lefty, so righty ejection is always a nuisance.)
I prefer stainless for rust resistance
I want it...
Other than a few minor scuffs/scratches from being moved around, you'd think this was new. Has had a total of 8 rounds through it. Planned on using it as a truck gun but it hasn't left the house.
$400
Let's make a deal. I would prefer cash as I am trying to shrink the collection but am open to...
I grew up in the age of The Rifleman and John Wayne movies, etc. - every cowboy had a lever action carbine and a six gun. I also grew up with an old model 94 30-30 with a 24" octagon barrel - a family heirloom.
So I strongly prefer carbines with octagon barrels - if they have a scout scope on...
I knew before I even parked that going into the lgs is dangerous. But I walked out with something I've wanted for a long time.
1956 Winchester 94 30-30
1989 Marlin 1894CS i n .357 Mag / .38 spl. $550
18.5 inch Micro-Groove Barrel
Previous owner obviously loved this gun
so it has its share of bumps and bruises but functions flawlessly.
I've done my best to photograph its flaws, but these are so much fun
to shoot I didn't care about scratches!
No...
Henry Big Boy - smoothing out the action somewhat. Pivot screw at the trigger guard is very torque-sensitive; light enough to make a quick action is too loose and tightening it up makes for a very stiff throw. I do break it down to clean it so locktite is not an option I want to look at quite...
