Pulled out my lever guns and gave them some love today.
Got to wondering what others like as far as calibers and models?

All mine are 94's.
Chambered in .22 magnum, 30-30, and .375 Winchester.

What have you got? And what would you like to add?

Got a 1972 94, New Model 336, Henry 22lr, Golden Boy, 2-Big Boy 357s, Ported 1895g, Stainless 1895g (both JM stamped), New Model 1895GBL.

I want a Henry Long Ranger 308, with Iron Sights and project 94, because I'm bored.

I want another 94/336 to make a CAR

I would love a Spencer Repeater repro.

And for some reason, I really really really really really want one of the Mossberg 464 SPX Tactical monstrosities.

And a few more 1895Gs

I only have a Henery .22lr base model I got used but I love it.

Would like something in .357mag and anything else I could afford lol.

I didn't know I'd love lever guns till I got one.

I even placed in the middle of 30 people at a speed steel competition. I got more then one under the breath comments but I also brought my stock Marlin 60 and pulled 3rd overall:D

At the present, we have a couple older lever-guns. One is a Winchester 94 in .30/30 WCF and the other a Savage 99 in .300 Savage.

I really like :
336 Marlin Sporting Carbine in .30-30
The 1974 octagonal barreled Marlin model 39M
1895 Winchester SRC Carbine in .30-40 Krag

All that said it is really tough to beat a Winchester 94 carbine or Marlin 336 carbine in .30-30 for most general rifle work...both are handy and accurate.

One of my first guns was/is a Miroku BLR. What an awesome gun.
I guess 12 ga lever guns are pretty big in Australia because of their lame laws.

This is my Go-To workhorse.

Marlin 1895g, with a ported barrel wearing an older Redfield 1 3/4 x 5.

It's more accurate than me, and it's stouter than my shoulder.
