Well Mr Mayor , the founding family of a 30 portland restaurant, the Persian House, closed its doors at the height of the "peaceful prtotests" due to the looting and vandalism and etc…. They are a beautiful immigrant family who moved here under Reagan, started a business, bought a home and put 2 daughters thru college. They did Nothing wrong, they did everything that was ever traditionally expected of our Nations's immigration intentions. And their livelihood is now shattered permanently. Theirs is a classic biopsy of portland metro businesses calling it quits. The standard libtardian reaction of "that is unfortunate" doesn't wash. I'm betting teddy would not allow himself to be interviewed by Lawrence Jones standing on a downtown street corner in front of a fine group of substance inhalers.

Well we pretty much had to vote for todd last election. A vote for the only guy there that mentioned potland needing help could have lead to that CRAZY chick being the mayor.

Very true...the business community failed and should have promoted a like minded business friendly mayor; Hitler did the same, supported by industry and ultimately he took over and or destroyed their business. The choice to elect morons and not to promote a middle of the road business friendly city manager cost the community their quality of life, and their jobs. This is on them. Let's not blame the mayor; he was elected by like minded people, just like the state officials.

Conversely, I recall that under the former prez; our local mayor went to Washington to advocate against the prez; it may be tin foil, but maybe it is the grand scheme to destroy the social structure and disarm the citizens. We are not disarming criminals but criminally charged law abidding citizens to defend themselves with firearms?
