Methinks there's an amusing story there... Do tell!Well at least it wasn't under the seat of your pick-up!
No, nothing crazy anyway. Used to see weasel, ermine, mink in the wilds sometimes while fishing. Have a steelhead up on the bank and hear something, turn to look, and see one of the critters within a 2/3 feet of you/your fish. Kind of creepy. Down on the dock where we vacation, on would pop his head up from a gap and look at you. Just creepy. The thought of having one, alive or dead, under the seat of your ride!Methinks there's an amusing story there... Do tell!
I hope they don't interbreed. The last thing we need is a flying cow-elk.
BREAK OUT THE 10 GAUGE, IT'S FLYING COW-ELK HUNTING SEASON!I hope they don't interbreed. The last thing we need is a flying cow-elk.

We had one of those fellas that loved to hammer on our TV satellite dish. Made a hell of a racket!
He's no stupid!He lived in a subdivision.
Probably a flicker. They do that to attract a mate. They do it most every morning on our metal chimney top in spring. We had one of those fellas that loved to hammer on our TV satellite dish. Made a hell of a racket!
You know how to fix that don't ya?Probably a flicker. They do that to attract a mate. They do it most every morning on our metal chimney top in spring.
It was definitely a flicker, but he was doing it in the fall, not when you'd expect 'em to be mating. I think he may have had a bent pecker when he was done...Probably a flicker. They do that to attract a mate. They do it most every morning on our metal chimney top in spring.
