Damn that avatar is appropriate. Once again!
I've got "people-that-live-near-me", 3-houses away, wouldn't call them neighbors, that have two terrible dogs that bark. It's like they put them in their back yard and close the door? The dogs stand at the door and BARK. I have to admit though, that the screaming at the top of my lungs to "SHUT THE DOGS UP" may have caused them to do something about it because it's lessened quite a bit. OR, the people that live right next door to them did something?
I know exactly how you feel, Mike. Exactly... Except my "people-that-live-near-me" are only 2 houses away with their stoo-pit phuq'n mutt...
Goddamned thing barks All. Day. And. All. Night. Long... 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬
My yelling at their backyard for their stupid cur to STFU hasn't helped a bit. Everybody around here hates them... SUPREME HATRED!!!

G'dang, That looks good. What kind of seasoning are you fond of? I looked at that cone thing and think they want too much money for it. But dang, THAT looks pretty fricken good.
I do a really simple seasoning for my chicken wings. Just salt, pepper, and garlic. The sauce is buffalo hot sauce and a bit of ranch to thicken. I searched around on Amazon and found this one for around $20. Best money I ever spent. Wings are so easy. Just set them on and forget about them for an hour. No turning, flipping, or anything.

Lol those steaks were amazing. Not to toot my own horn, but they were just fantastic. Unfortunately, my wife and all her family like to destroy meat ... so I had to compromise and do a medium rare/medium temp and then flash a few cuts to burn them to medium well... but the cuts closest to rare were spot on melt in your mouth.

All in all, was a pretty good 4th celebration. Good BBQ, lots of libations, my son is old enough that I let him light most the fireworks. Several neighbors were home as well so able to chat with most of them. Only one stray firework blew up under a chair and hit somebody in the chest ... so pretty good night. No er visits. Later this week we're headed to Deadwood for adults only vacation and I have a decent little bankroll to blow at the casino.

Oh, and to come full circle and get back on topic, while I will not be cooking on our trip ... I do plan for some chislic and some prime rib.

Chuck Eye's are a really good steak as well, they are cut off the end of the rib next to the rib eye. Purchased one at Winco today for $7.70 was big enough that I ate half tonight and will have half for lunch tomorrow.

Was tender and delicious.
