I was going to say Rough Rider .22 revolvers, but when I think about it, it's not hard to understand the popularity: low price.

As low quality as they are, most of them do tend to work OK. Materials and quality are a step above a pot-metal cap gun, and if you get a bad one or your new gun falls apart after a couple months, like mine did, it's an expensive hassle to send it in for repair. They might fix it, or they might make it worse, like they did mine.

You can't go too far wrong for a hundred bucks or so, and most people who have them seem to be pretty happy with them. But, for just a few dollars more I bought a Ruger Wrangler; far better quality, far better customer service, and the Rough Rider sits in the back of the safe collecting dust. Ironically, not long after buying the Wrangler I found an older, used Super Single Six, complete with both cylinders, for only a few dollars more than the Wrangler. Now the Wrangler sits in the back of the safe with the Rough Rider! :)
I LOVE my Super Single Six, Bought it when I was 21, I just couldn't see going with one of the newer cheaper versions, not after having the "Real Deal"
Bought one for each of my sons when they were teens, found them as a matched pair from an old times Cowboy Action Shooter's wife, killer deal!

I don't know how popular they are, but falls into the "what the hell" category.

As far as how popular… what's mystifying is that as far as I could tell, this thing first hit the market around 4 years ago, the manufacturer doesn't seem to produce anything else, and yet they don't appear to be bankrupt, and there are retailers still selling these at this time.

So in short… it's popular enough enough not to bankrupt its maker within 4 years.

I won't watch inrange tv. Karl Kasarda has stated he is a minister in a satanic temple, supports antifa, and is glad to have contributed to the extinction of the white race. I will have nothing to do with that ultra left wing radical.

For a more normal opinion skip to 13:26 mark of these two good reviewers for a review of it.

Mossberg shockwave. The handle looks unmanageable if you fire it as a home defense weapon and theres no way in hell you'll be hitting any game.

Personally I always felt a regular shotgun 18.5" with folding stock is more useful and similar size. I used to have 18.5" with folding stock for HD until I discovered reliable AK 12gauges then I replaced it. I still like 18" with folding stock though. Cheap, reliable, useful, easy to store or transport. When shooting a shockwave has to be farther away from your body (to avoid getting smacked) than a 18.5" on the shoulder (see short video below).
