Using principals from the Sidecar Named Desire I made a Blackberry Shrub.
2 oz Brandy
1oz Lemon Juice
2 spoons of Blackberry Jam
1/3 oz Balsamic Vinegar
Soda water to taste.

Shake everything but the Soda until cold, Double strain into a double rocks glass, top with Soda.

Very nice. Though gin or tequila are my staples, when I enjoy the bourbon, Knob Creek is something wonderful.
