I sold a Glock to fund this one. Normally if I am buying something new then something old is getting sold. I don't collect firearms. Just have what I need and use.

That's true in regards to NWFA. Other forums/sites I have zero issue moving product.

Luckily I have pretty good self control. Can't say the same for myself in the past.

A bit of a family heirloom here... Originally purchased as a personal weapon by Police Chief Thomas Gault (of the Gladstone, OR PD) in 1921 and gifted to my uncle as 'backup' when he was about to ship out to Vietnam.

There are times that has been oh-too-true. I get a little twitch now and then, but I'm mostly past the buying stage. However, I'm not opposed to trading something I have for sale for another gun I might find interesting. I just don't want to spend any money right now.

Yeah. Eventually. I took it to @AFS and put it on consignment. They hawked it for me.

So, being I got bored late at night while watching Mannix and Cannon, I decided to see if I could impact the bead blasted surface on my Taurus 617.

I know it's like putting lipstick on a pig, but not half bad for doing it without mechanical help. Just a Microfiber cloth and some Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish.

Not bad for a first pass, about 3.5 hours effort.

picked this one up today, - Colt Python 3"in polished nickel.
Won it in an auction a few days ago.

I think I finally have the perfect number of firearms … just, one, more and that ought to do 'er …
(And yes, I know those are 38spc rounds in the cylinder. They were what was in the speedloader I had handy, and the nickel shells are just so shiny perty like ).

I'm a new shooter and so far the only thing I still really want/need is a revolver in 22LR. I want to try steel challenge without spending a bajillion dollars on ammo.

Here is my latest acquisition. Charter Arms Pit Bull .40 S&W. 2.3" barrel, 21 ozs Payload and velocity approximate a .357 snub of similar barrel length.
