We do transfers every day we are open just come on down!Usually the guys I have met have a Washington permit. They bring it over the border and do the transfer here in Washington. There are several places close to the I-5 corridor and the border that can do the transfer for you.
@NWCustomFirearms is one of them and @Sporting Systems is another.
I will be driving through next week. Would like to pick up a handgun I found on here. Would like to do the purchase and transfer in Oregon. But if I can't the alternative would be to ship it to an ffl here for transfer. Not sure if the added expense would be worth it.
Unless the seller is willing to drive to Vancouver, your best option is to have it shipped to your local FFL.It's in Salem
I am thinking about selling a handgun to a WA resident.
May I take the handgun to WA, meet the buyer at an FFL there
and make the transfer in the same way that I would do in OR?
I am told that this has been done many times before and that it works,
but is it 100% legal?
Also, it sounds too good to be true .
I suspect that this has been discussed many times before but I could not find
the relevant thread by searching.

Remember, not long ago, when you could meet in the parking lot of anywhere and do a FTF for a handgun and it was perfectly fine and no tyrannical law was broken?
Just reminiscing.... good luck, OP.
