To Streamlight....or not to Streamlight?

The light says, "I'm here to get work done"

The grips say, "I'm just here to party"

They both have their place, but look a little mismatched together.

Business in the front, party in the back.

Looking to get TLR-6 for my Kimber Micro 9. What are your thoughts ON HOW IT LOOKS?

Honestly, laser grips would be more appropriate on this unit, wood laser grips, in my humble opinion. Why ruin the lines of this mini 1911 wanna be….

That's not a knock on the Micro 9, I've got a rosewood and stainless model.

I don't like aesthetics but practicality over appearance. If you need a light, you could do a lot worse. You could get better but streamlight does what you need at a decent price.

I don't think a light on a handgun is necessarily a bad thing. I also don't think Streamlight makes a bad product, I have several of their flashlights and there's a lot of candlepower for a good price.
But I'm more inclined to think the handgun I'd have a light on, and I don't, would be a full size "night stand" gun.

Actually, the first gun I would throw a light on would be my defense shotgun, but that's another story.

I didn't vote, but I'll go back and do that now.
