Welcome to the forum. Seems kind of a 'bot' like question if this is your post from another thread. You apparently don't think much of them, some others do. Just like many guns. These are the same people that buy a Kimber, thinking they bought a "high end" 1911... LOL
I'm not a bot. Kimbers seem to be either loved or hated with not much in between.Welcome to the forum. Seems kind of a 'bot' like question if this is your post from another thread. You apparently don't think much of them, some others do. Just like many guns.
How do you explain the Kimber false advertising?
This is the kind of bullbubblegum that's been discussed ad nauseum and played out.Another is their use of MIM, hence the name MIMber.
Whats wrong with using MIM? Are Kimbers falling apart?Another is their use of MIM, hence the name MIMber.
I have 2 Chevys in the yard. They don't run , but I love them anyway. My feeling is the bad reputation comes from people who don't have one in their safe, likely never shot one, to validate that what they have in their safe, what they chose, is the best. Sort of like buying a Ford truck, and then saying that Chevy sucks to justify your decision as being well founded.
I have two that from day one have ran like sewing machines, on multiple brands of ammo without a hiccup.

Is that a bull or a dogs rear end?
