I hate to say it but he needs to be re-educatated. Give him a copy of the constitution, civics book on how the government of the United States works, give him some history lessons on why communism, fascism, and socialism don't work in the end.

I am guessing that civics and history have been thrown out the window in schools in the United States now. I know a lot of politicians need be re-educaticated too. Give them a copy of United States constitution, civics, and history lessons as well.

Check this. I heard on the radio today that some nut case has given death threats to the Spokane County Sheriff for not enforcing I-1639. How ironic. Somebody in favor of I-1639 threatens to kill a county Sheriff.

With all of our joking about those on the left being mentally ill and snowflakes, and with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) becoming more of a reality, there really is something seriously wrong with the thought processes of those on the left.

I work with a couple of people that are more liberal than leftist, and trying to talk with them about politics is completely pointless. These are very intelligent and rational people when it comes to work. But when you mention Trump or AOC, they literally lose their minds.

They seem to be completely incapable of processing facts and reality. It's becoming rather unsettling. Almost like there is a supernatural force that is preventing them from seeing reality.

The problem with enforcing 1639, or not enforcing it, is that a lot of it is beyond local control.

While the safe storage laws can be ignored locally, the worst parts cannot. Age restrictions, the ill defined training requirement, and the treating of all semi autos as "assault weapons" are done at the state level. Unless locals refuse to run enhanced background checks for these things (which then stops the sale of all semi auto rifles), this is a lot of bark with very little practical bite. Especially since the "safe storage" part was already crafted to be enforced locally.

Hopefully though, the courts will see fit to kill this abomination.
