Propaganda will define both sides, some of us have seen it in every war of the last 70 years. All my opinion with nothing to back it up, but here it is anyway... The idea that a state that is 40% to 50% independents with the political parties within a percent or two of each other declaring it's self to be on "one side" or the other is not realistic. Can anyone actually define each "side"? Last I checked, beliefs run along a bell curve.
Limited political violence... that I can see happening on the extreme ends of the parties where false narratives about the opposing party overwhelm any reason or logic. It would be nice if we could just talk and not vilify people who don't agree with our own position like the left and right media does.
Liberals - have you actually talked to a conservative about their positions?

Try it.
