Ok. The business has been shut down by the gubment since March 22nd. Today I got out to do a little shooting. Best day in forever by the way. All shots at 100 yards.

First pic and great group in my opion for a rifle that was built in 1874. 45/70 trapdoor. Probably my favorite to shoot.

Next was the 6.5. I have been working on some loads for this rifle. Today I was shooting 142 grain nosler accubonds. The powder is h 414. These. Three groups were all 5 shot strings as I am working the loads. Couldn't be happier with the shooting. I am just hoping I can shot this good again. That's a double A battery

Played "USPSA" at my (closed) range today with my climbing buddy of the past 30-odd years who I am now introducing to shooting.
The last official USPSA comp we had was on March 15, so all of the walls, windows, swingers, etc. have been taken down and put away cuz of the lockdown.
So we created a course of fire with the target stands and steel that were left outside and not locked up in the outbuildings and/or the connex...

This particular round just happened to be my best for the day.
Engaged 18 targets, scored 146 points out of a possible 155 (94%), in 42.3 seconds, for a Hit Factor = 3.452.
The 4.000 HF that would bring me to a Level 1 shooter continues to elude me...
I really need to speed up those double-taps...
And take a lot more ibuprofen for that crappy ol' left knee that rock climbing and mountaineering ruined for me...

The reason the picture is tilted....is 'cause of all the torque you used when tightening down the suppressor...next time don't twist it so much....
