It was my first time (hopefully first of many) and it was pretty busy. There was an all day 'cowboy action' event taking up all the action pistol bays, so I guess that's why there were a lot of people in the other ranges.
It all starts with a .22 can, then a second one because its no fun shooting suppressed when your shooting partner isn't. The next think you know, you're into stamp collecting.First trip (as a guest) to the Tri-County Gun Club, and no surprise, I was able to find somebody willing to let me try their can on my new Taurus TX22 !!!!
580.950 yards again?
erslll, where do you shoot?
I'm just across the creek from you, and that area looks darned familiar, what with all of the high voltage lines coming off McNary...
PS: Dang nice shootin'...
...1930 yards...
Fog never lifted enough for me to get a good visual on it today.
Which caliber in the X Ray?Did a little shooting today. Got a new target for the 1000 yard berm. Our old 18" target was just mild steel and it didn't ring very well. Received a new 20" AR500 target from JC Steel Targets. It is only 1/4" thick and held up fine to 6.5 CM and 7mm Rem Mag. They say at 1000 yards it should hold up to 338 Lapua. Anyway, it makes a marvelous sound. Loud and clear now when you hit it.
4 of the 5 shots that went down range from my 6.5 CM. Not great but still under MOA.

5 shot group from the 7mm. I'm pretty happy with that. Had a little more trouble getting on target with this one. Hit 6 out of 10 but the 6 were the last six in a row.
