Even before this administration, the government by the people and for the people split off from "the people" long ago and by use if agencies, has become an entity of its own. We are simply tax hostages. There are still a few judges, and other politicians who mean well, but in the end, they get over-ruled or ignored. This is the worst I have seen it in my 70+ years. D.C. has become a cess pool worse than Portland. Questionable inhabitants of the country gorge our streets waving Palastinian flags and raise he** with impunity.

Also happened over a year ago. I wonder if anyone was held accountable on either side? Doode just got arrested in new York subway for stopping a crime and firing a weapon. I would think cops or security officers would be held accountable for laws they break?

Isn't there usually a SS agent that stays with the car in case there is an emergency and they must get the protectee out of a situation quickly?

I wouldn't be surprised if there were guns in the SUV, or other sensitive items.

We don't know the details, but it would be interesting to find out just what the SS thought their justification for sending bullets towards the perps was.

Probably, but from the article it isn't clear whether it is the main SUV or one in a convoy? I don't know how many vehicles they have for such VIPs besides the POTUS & first lady.
