What does this mean? I understand it's going to another committee, but was is the significance of that?

Also, does anyone know when the last day is to pass bills through committee during the short session?
 
If this is true, I'm guessing the democratic leadership felt this bill wasn't a priority. They are going to push other policy agendas and lumping in an anti-gun bill that's going to get a lot of pushback isn't worth the trouble.
 
So she doesn't want to represent her constituents? Her idea is to regulate and ration what legal rights will be allowed and not protected.

Also, her tone IMO, is that of trying to convince people of a lie. Twisting one circumstance and representing that as the norm.

She does not work in a gun free zone. She comfortably works around people vetted by the state just like CHL holders, who per government data are less than 1% committing violent crimes. Why even try to strip rights from the people who are not the problem?
 
SB 1538 has been referred to the Senate Committee on Rules where it will hopefully die. Written testimony submitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee will be forwarded to the Senate Committee on Rules.
