I currently load the following:

.243 Win
7mm-08
.30-06
.308 (Hunting, not match)

.44 Spl/Mag
.38 spl / .357 mag

12 gauge shotshell (competition load)

I'm about to start 257 Weatherby.

I've made the decision not to load .45ACP or .223 - I just had to stop somewhere.

Past loading: 300 savage, various fireballs, .30-30, .222, 20 gauge, .257 Bob, and many more ...

Bob

.223, .243, .300 Wthby, .308. 30.06. 25.06, .257 Wthby, 44 mag. .357.....38 spcl, .45 ACP,,.338 Wmag,,,,,22.250 (in the past 9mm,,,.270, .300 Wmag, 7 mag,,) Great if you have the time and some patience. Not at all hard to do...just follow the simple rules. RCBS Rock Chucker, Dillon 550, RCBS Partner, Herters C arm, MEC 600 Jr,,,,,,,,,You can get set up for around $160 with some good used equipment......it is well worth it all around

If you're inclined, you can load a family of cartridges, like the .45ACP, .30-06, .308, .243, 7mm-08, 8mm Mauser, and so on. They all use the same shell holder, and the rifle cartridges in the group can generally use the same powder, even if the amounts are different. My eye tends to be attracted to old warhorses, and there are many similarities to take advantage of.

I think I might have some brass, need to chk if 7.62x39 or... I though the ram on Turret classic was not as strong and tough as RCBS so split my work load into two separate station progresisve for handgun and Chucker for rifle hassle but OK

I load 357 sig, 40, 45acp, 223, 17 fireball, 22-250. 243, 270wsm, 7rem mag, 300 win mag, 300 ultra mag, 257 weatherby mag, 45-70 govt, think thats about it. Oh, 38 special. Sorry, 257 roberts, 204 ruger, 308 winchester.

I loaded mostly 45 colt, but know need to load .45 acp.
What is the powder of the day? I used to use hodgdon HP38, but have not found any as of yet.
What store is the best place to find bullets and powder? I normally shop at Sportco, but they have very limted supply of anything.

Well my bench is still under construction so I'm pretty new at this. I have a Lee classic 4 hole turret press and will be reloading both 10mm and .40S&W, .223, 7.62x39, and .35 Remington.

Here in yUK I reload -

Two different bullet weights of .308Win with either Vihtavuori N150 or IMR4064.

Two different bullet styles of 7x57 Mauser with Vihtavuori N150.

7.5x55 Swiss FMJ with IMR4064.

.38 Special with Unique.

.357 Magnum with Bullseye/Unique.

6.5x55 Swedish

38-55 in my High Wall

I cast three different round ball - .440, .451 and .457 and a .457 conical.

and for my BP rifles - .58 Minie, .451 multi-groove Lyman and .451 hexagonal Whitworth.

That's it. 'Sno use telling what I used to do, that's all gone now.
