Washington Question About Selling Inherited Guns

Good evening everyone,
A few months ago my grandfather passed away. He was my non-biological grandfather so there is no blood relation. I inherited dozens of guns from him. One of them is a hunting rifle, which I have no use for as I do not hunt. Am I legally able to sell this gun? Thank you for any advice. I live in Washington, if that matters.

Sell it through a gun dealer (FFL) they'll handle the paperwork and either seller or buyer pays the fee

What is a "non biological grandfather"? Honorary grandfather/family friend?

Regardless, the options to sell, legally anyway, depend on whether the gun is 50 years old, or an NFA item, the buyer's state of residence, and whether the buyer has certain types of federal firearm licenses.

Call some local dealers. Many of them will take any and all weapons on consignment.

Yes you can sell it. It must go through an FFL dealer to transfer it to a buyer unless it's something exempt like a blackpowder muzzleloader
