The State of Washington effectively codified "assault rifle" to mean any semiautomatic rifle when I-1639 was voted into law. Jay & Bob, it appears, are in a lather to enact a total ban of assault rifles in order to rid the state of as many of them as possible before I-1639 gets shot down in the courts.
