Yeah but the cavalry carbines are kinda neat too, if not a bit weird. I picked up a couple of those as well while the getting is good.Nice. I missed out on the 91TS all they have left are the cavalry carbines.

At first glance... But second glance it's not terrible. It could grow on a guy. I wouldn't do it to my only Garand though.Thought y'all might like to see my recent custom stock project for my Garand. It was carved from a CMP stock, so don't freak out about me messing up an original one! I colored it with thinned down enamel paints and weathered it to fit the old gun, as well as mating the wood parts to fit the metal hardware more closely. The whole thing is textured using a stamp I made from an old punch to fit the fabric flag theme. Anyway, I hope you like it!

I'm honestly not sure. To be honest, customized classic rifles are not usually my thing either, but I was looking for a project while I was stuck at home with the kung flu in January, and wanted to try something new, so what the hell, right? I still have a standard walnut one, too.At first glance... But second glance it's not terrible. It could grow on a guy. I wouldn't do it to my only Garand though.
What kind of response do you suppose you'd receive at a military classic rifle shoot?
That basket weave thing goin' on there gives it sort of an antiqued look. Bright/shiny would be an abomination. The subdued look keeps it classic and classy.I'm honestly not sure.
