Appreciate your 2 cents Bro. IMHO we are in a new era of (hyper?) inflation. Search 1970's inflation.

Get what you can, when you can.

Respectfully,

My 2 cents.
The problem with inflation now is the rates on already inflated prices. The new houses in my neighborhood are still $600k. I bought my house under $300k. Middle class wages haven't doubled so now you need to have upper class wages to live in a Middle class neighborhood.

Target 9mm was $10. Now it's close to if not doubled. Fast food price increases probably has more to do with the minimum wage. Product quality is so bad now I rarely eat it much. Burgers are more oatmeal than meat.

What's interesting is, I see a rise in young people having kids even in light of a questionable future 🤔. They complain they can't afford a house or car but are expanding their families.

Got to give the democRATS credit for something that they are the greatest gun salesman history has seen.

They have put more guns into people's hands than any other force.

I am one of those 40k, glad I still got an instant approval, but I didn't buy for the rush, I bought because I felt like having another.

It's the LGBwjifom43pb93ymvwxyz community; they've been told they are under attack again.

Maybe they should just have a Bud Lite and chill.
It will be a cold day in hell before I touch ANY Anheuser-Busch product again. Thanks, Bud! Hopefully (for them)
the LGBwjifom43pb93ymvwxyz community will keep their a**es afloat. A local micro-brew, anyone?

Is it just me or did bulk .308 ammo not come down that much? I can't find any.
Several flavors of ammo are still harder to find. Every time there is a huge panic like this the people making ammo go full tilt on what sells best first. There is a LOT of 9mm ball ammo again but a LOT of the nice defense stuff is often harder to find. Bit ago co worker got his first pistol, 9mm. I told him if he wanted some play time ammo I would split a case with him since he did not want to buy a case. He wanted to have one box of some kind of good HP and from my favorite place there was not much to choose from to toss on the order since we were getting free shipping. Its the same reason primers are the last to come back. So much of what is made is being used for the ammo. The less they sell of some flavor the longer it takes to catch up on since they are working so hard to get the most common back first.

Hopefully people are finding good spring weather is for shooting
We haven't seen any of that here yet. It's raining outside as I'm sitting here, just as it has for the past I don't know how many weeks.

I'm pretty well fixed up for ammo. But lately I've added three cartridges to my battery of firearms, for which I previously had nothing. So buying supplies for those was costly. Buying cartridge brass for anything less than 9mm Para is shocking. Large primers for rifle and pistol are near non-existent; small rifle and pistol are available again but very costly. Powder supplies are limited; ball powders are more easily found than stick. Bullets are in fair supply but costly.

Oh, plenty of new .357 Sig brass out there.

The thing most people lose sight of about inflation is this. It's cumulative. That annual amount just keeps piling up year after year.

Heading out to the range this morning I thought I would stop by Bimart and pick up some ammo, NOPE!

Stopped by three and all were cleaned out of 9mm, just 2 weeks ago they had more 9mm than they knew what to do with.

I have plenty, but when it's cheap I still prefer to buy a few boxes for range day. They didn't say anything about banning ammo, yet.... Chill out!
Or... It has finally stopped snowing and people want to go out and shoot! DR

The thing about inflation is that it works like compound interest. To make it easy, we'll use 10% inflation:
$100.00 + 10% = $110.00
$110.00 + 10% = $121.00
$121.00 + 10% = $133.10
$133.10 + 10% = $146.41
In ten years it would take $259.39 to buy what $100.00 buys today.

Now use the "target rate of inflation" specified by the Federal Reserve of 3%. At that rate, in 10 years, it will take $134.39 to buy what costs $100.00 now. The Federal Reserve is committed to making your money worth less each year!

Yes, when they say they will "get it under control" does not mean that any of the damage already done will be undone.

For many years they've built in an "acceptable" level of inflation to "accommodate growth." That's the 2% level they'd like to get back to. But it's a corrupt system that automatically accepts any amount of inflation. The 2% itself was illusory due to the rigged system used to calculate inflation. We've been getting boned for years, but lately it's gotten much worse.

Sportsman's Hillsboro as well. And a good selection of powder, more than one or two deep, albeit at the new prices $35-$40/lb…
Sadly many of us in the shooting club seem to not see inflation anywhere but guns and ammo. Maybe too many of us either do not shop for food or just don't look at the price. EVERYTHING went up sharply for a good while. Even as the stuff that was all but gone for a couple years comes back its sure not going to come back to the price it was before this last panic. I miss $8 a box 9mm but I miss $1.50 a gallon gas too. Not likely to see either again in my lifetime. :(

Wait until People find out about Brandon's CENTRAL BANK DIGITAL CURRENCY (cashless).

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy. Advances in digital and distributed ledger technology for financial services have led to dramatic growth in markets for digital assets, with profound implications for the protection of consumers, investors, and businesses, including data privacy and security; financial stability and systemic risk; crime; national security; the ability to exercise human rights; financial inclusion and equity; and energy demand and climate change.

The big winner in inflation is government, they raise taxes to spend all they want and print money for what they can't steal from us. We are at about 14% inflation and wages won't keep up with that. Unfortunately we are losing 14% on our savings every year. Putting your savings into a commodities that you will use seems to be the only way to keep our money.

As the economy crashes it will not be a controlled crash like all the last recessions so maybe it's wise to have some extra ammo...for you young guys.

Not sure it's panic buying.
Salem and DC National Socialists make no effort to hide their toxic agenda.

Found 00 12 gauge for a good price yesterday.
Good enough to justify purchase rather than load.

No shortage of other things to spend time on.

It's probably wise to acquire while it's still available.

How does is go?....Better to ask forgiveness than beg permission.
