Interesting. We (by that I mean the FFL I work for) were shipping a pistol to a police officer in Riverside County California the other day and he could not find an FFL that would transfer the pistol without a 10 day waiting period and background check.

Why should LEOs be subject to any different rules than those of us who pay their salaries?

I was mistaken, 10 days, unless they have a CC then they can process using that ID # PAX
