Trade involves the transfer of goods and services from one person or entity to another, often in exchange for money. Economists refer to a system or network that allows trade as a market.
An early form of trade, barter, saw the direct exchange of goods and services for other goods and services, i.e. trading things without the use of money. Modern traders generally negotiate through a medium of exchange, such as money. As a result, buying can be separated from selling, or earning. The invention of money (and letter of credit, paper money, and non-physical money) greatly simplified and promoted trade. Trade between two traders is called bilateral trade, while trade involving more than two traders is called multilateral trade.
In one modern view, trade exists due to specialization and the division of labour, a predominant form of economic activity in which individuals and groups concentrate on a small aspect of production, but use their output in trades for other products and needs. Trade exists between regions because different regions may have a comparative advantage (perceived or real) in the production of some trade-able commodity—including production of natural resources scarce or limited elsewhere. For example: different regions' sizes may encourage mass production. In such circumstances, trade at market prices between locations can benefit both locations. Different types of traders may specialize in trading different kinds of goods; for example, the spice trade and grain trade have both historically been important in the development of a global, international economy.
Retail trade consists of the sale of goods or merchandise from a very fixed location (such as a department store, boutique or kiosk), online or by mail, in small or individual lots for direct consumption or use by the purchaser. Wholesale trade is traffic in goods that are sold as merchandise to retailers, or to industrial, commercial, institutional, or other professional business users, or to other wholesalers and related subordinated services.
Historically, openness to free trade substantially increased in some areas from 1815 to the outbreak of World War I in 1914. Trade openness increased again during the 1920s but collapsed (in particular in Europe and North America) during the Great Depression of the 1930s. Trade openness increased substantially again from the 1950s onwards (albeit with a slowdown during the oil crisis of the 1970s). Economists and economic historians contend that current levels of trade openness are the highest they have ever been.
Looking to see if anyone in my corner of the state has one of these. Would be open to other calibers (except .380) as well but 9mm is the one I'm primarily interested in. Open to all the various colors.
Ideal price is around $200.
Price is somewhat flexible but I will be comparing to what I...
I was wondering if any WA residents have been shopping in OR recently?
I was thinking of getting a pistol done in OR FFL and send back to WA FFL.
Does anyone know what their mag policy to WA residents? Wether they let you keep it or they are going to keep it.
So last time I bought a safe my wife said get the last one you will ever need. I tried and most likely my gun obsession of 43 years will dictate that I buy another one someday but not until I am debt free from this last 'lack of income from me' period (fingers crossed that ends soon lol)...
Since a number of people are going to start having problems getting background checks approved, what other legal options do they have to acquire new guns.
Black Powder firearms?
Antique firearms purchased here or maybe in another State?
Having their homemade firearms serialized by FFL before...
I'm in need of holsters for several of my handguns that are mostly just sitting in a safe or a dressor drawer. I have several carry guns that are already holstered but I'm looking for other options for my P320 X guns ( 320X5 & X10) plus I also have a Gp100 that may need outfitted, though I...
The case of Washington State v Gator's Guns is scheduled for summary judgement on Monday. If the ruling goes in favor of Gator's, it just might overturn the magazine ban currently in effect. Naturally, the State Supreme Court will waste no time overturning any favorable ruling, but we still...

Anyone have any experience with this?
Is there an industry wide accepted definition of "Packaged for Re-Issue"?
I have searched google and followed many links.
No answers or non answers.

Anyone hear about customs issues when buying from this place?
https://zahal.org/
I hear conflicting stories about this, but the page states that it drop ships and uses FAB Defense to ship from so as not to encounter any issues when shipping items to a private individual.
Web page states...
The Chapman Gun Kit screwdriver set. This was recommended to me back in the 1970's and has come in handy so many times. The bits for this are hollow ground, and resist camming out of a screw slot. Sometimes you find very slender slots in screws; some of the Chapman bits are ground thing to...
I'm just curious if I have a LGS sell my firearm via consignment will potential buyer have to pay the $25-$35 transfer fee similar to a person to person transaction?
Thinking about just having someone like tick lickers sell vs waiting on classified sale. Figured it'd make firearm more...
My brother called me in kind of a panic saying he couldn’t buy a lower in Washington state. Is there a workaround for this or is he SOL? I’m in Washington also but I’ve been out of the loop lately.
The thread title kind of says it: where do you acquire radio equipment, parts, supplies, etc., these days? Any you avoid?
I've restarted a radio network project that has been put off way too long, but sometimes one has to deal with the crises of the moment first. I've got, I think, all the...
Anyway Sportsmans had a sale on handguns around Father's day and I decided to buy one. I knew full well the experience wasn't going to be good so I really can't bubblegum.
I was told there were 5k+ ahead of me so a three week wait is normal even with a ccw.
I have waited a lot longer buying a FA...
Seems like activity on in the classifieds section is really dropping off. I feel like we hit a high in terms of peer to peer transactions a few months back. Now I see countless listings with zero replies, likes etc. that have been posted for weeks. All kinds of stuff even really good stuff...
On Gunbroker many vendors charge 3% extra for using a credit card. Which is to offset the service charge the seller pays the CC carrier. Some buyers may want to save that 3% by using a cash-like payment instrument. My advice, don't do it.
Using CC for payment gives you leverage for...
